FINAL FANTASY 7 REBIRTH

드디어 파판7 리메이트 두번째 작품 REBIRTH의 출시일과 트레일러가 공개되었다!
내가 중학생시절 파판7을 플레이 하는 것을 구경하기 위해 학교 마치고 친구집을 밥먹듯이 갔던게 엊그제 같은데 이제 완전한 아재가 되어 이걸 기다리고 있다.
파판 1부터 15까지 안해본 파판이 없지만 스토리로 진심으로 감동하고 게임에 몰입한것은 7과 10이 전부이다. 15는 나사가 조금 빠진 느낌이고.. 개인적으로는 남자 캐릭터와 여자 캐릭터, 그 외 다양한 캐릭터(동물과 같은)들이 조화롭게 구성되어 플레이 할 수 있는 시리즈가 더 재밌는 것 같다.
트레일러가 전부는 아니지만 트레일러만 보면 그래도 기대할만한 부분이 꽤 엿보인다.
먼저 새로운 캐릭터들이 본격적으로 합류한다는 것이다. 파판7이 정말 잘 만들어진 게임이었던 점은 세계관도 좋았고 그 세계관 속에 어우러진 정말 많은 캐릭터들이다. 캐릭터 하나하나가 너무 개성있고 소중하다.(한창 잘나갔을 때의 어벤저스 처럼)
The release date and trailer for REBIRTH, the second installment of FINAL FANTASY 7 Remate, is finally here!
It seems like just yesterday that I was a middle schooler, going to my friend’s house after school to watch him play Final Fantasy VII, and now I’m a full grown man, waiting for this.
I haven’t played Final Fantasy 1 through 15, but it’s only 7 and 10 that really moved me with the story and immersed me in the game. 15 feels like it’s missing a few screws… Personally, I think it’s more fun to play a series that has a harmonious mix of male characters, female characters, and various other characters (like animals).
The trailer isn’t everything, but there are still some things to look forward to.
The first is that new characters will be joining the roster. One of the things that made Final Fantasy VII such a well-crafted game was the world building and the sheer number of characters in that world. Each character is so unique and important (like the Avengers at their best).
전투는 기본 구조는 크게 바뀌지 않는 것으로 보인다. 다만 동료들과의 연계성을 더 높인것으로 보이는 장면들이 있어 연계플레이는 더 기대가 된다.
오리지날에서 원거리든 근거리든 같은 거리의 위치에 서서 턴을 기다리는 모습을 보다가 원거리는 저 뒤에서 중거리는 중간 쯔음에 근거리는 앞에서 싸우는 모습을 보니 세월이 감개무량하다.
Combat doesn’t seem to have changed much in terms of its basic structure. However, there are scenes that seem to be more interconnected with your teammates, so I’m looking forward to more coordination.
It’s definitely more realistic to see them standing in the same distance from each other in the original, waiting for their turn, and then fighting behind them in the distance and in front of them in the middle of the battle.
초코보를 타고 있는 모습을 보면 기존 월드맵은 사용하지 않는 것으로 보인다.
초코보는 대표 캐릭터가 혼자 타는게 아니라 타면 모두다 같이 타게 되는 것으로 보인다. 근데 레드 서틴은 안타고 달려오겠지?
이게 오픈월드의 형태로 구현될지 아니면 정해진 루트로만 이동하는 것인지는 좀 더 자세한 정보가 나와야 할 것 같은데 가능하면 오픈월드 이길 바래본다. 상단 인디케이터만 보면 다양한 목적지가 존재하는 것으로 봐서 제한된 오픈월드에 가깝지 않을까 하는 기대감을…
비공정이 아직 공개되지 않았는데 비공정의 모습은 어떻게 구현될지 또 비공정을 타면 맵 이동은 어떻게 할지 궁금하다.
Chocobo’s ride does not appear to use the existing world map.
Chocobo doesn’t seem to be ridden by the main character alone, but rather by everyone else. But Red Serpent will be riding on his own, right?
We’ll have to wait for more details to see if this will be implemented in the form of an open world or just traveling on a set route, but I’m hoping for an open world if possible. If you look at the top indicator, there are various destinations, so I expect it to be close to a limited open world…
I’m curious about how it will be implemented and how to move around the map when riding a vehicle, as the vehicle hasn’t been released yet.
마지막 장면에서 디스크가 2장인것을 강조하고 있다.
리메이크1편도 디스크가 2장이었는데(설치 디스크, 플레이 디스크), 나는 2편은 플레이 디스크가 2장이라는 이야기로 해석했다. 확실히 콘텐츠는 정말 풍부할 것 같다.
구체적인 출시일은 아직 미정이고 24년 초라고만 공개되어 있다. 올 가을에 스타필드, 사펑, 시티즈스카이라인2 등 내가 해야만 하는 대작 게임들이 너무 많이 예정되어 있어.. 시간은 없고, 해야 할 것은 많고.. 죽겠다.
그래서 파판7 REBIRTH가 올해 출시가 아닌것만으로 다행이라는 생각도 든다.
더 자세한 정보가 공개될때까지 또 다시 경건한 마음으로 기다려보자.
The last scene emphasizes that there are two disks.
The first installment of the remake also had two disks (installation disk and play disk), so I interpreted it as saying that the second installment will have two play disks. It certainly looks like there will be a lot of content.
The specific release date is still up in the air, with only an early ’24 release date listed. I’ve got so many big games coming out this fall that I need to play, like Starfield, Cyberpunk, and Cities Skyline 2… I’m running out of time, I’m running out of things to do, and I’m running out of time.
So I guess I’m just glad that Final Fantasy 7 REBIRTH isn’t coming out this year.
Let’s wait with reverence for more information to be released.
